Harwich Lifeboat Station

This Job was comprised of about 150 metres balustrades to the exterior of the site and building, all made from 316 stainless steel. It benefited greatly from a striking design, and the 316 stainless mesh infill panels. This design was continued throughout, being incorporated into the disable ramps, gates and viewing platforms etc.

As you can see from the numerous photos there where also several stainless staircases, balconies and viewing platforms positioned on the exterior of the building, these were also fabricated from 316 stainless. Including a galvanised staircase from the lifeboat station to the pontoon, for access to the life boat during 999 emergencies.

As well as the major work we contributed to the exterior of the building, there was also a significant amount of handrails and balustrading fabricated for the interior of the building around the viewing platforms and stairs etc. Once again most of interior work was fabricated from 316 stainless but this time with toughened glass infill panels.
